At Demo Primary School, we are always looking for ways to enhance our learning environment and provide the best opportunities for our children. That’s why we are thrilled to announce that a brand-new playground facility will be built over the Easter holidays!
This exciting development is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring that all pupils have access to high-quality outdoor spaces that promote physical activity, creativity, and social interaction. The new playground will provide an engaging, safe, and inclusive area where children can play, explore, and develop key skills outside the classroom.
What to Expect from the New Playground
The new facility has been carefully designed to cater to the needs of children across all age groups at Demo Primary School. It will feature:
- Modern Play Equipment – Including climbing frames, slides, and swings, all designed to support balance, coordination, and strength.
- Outdoor Learning Spaces – A dedicated area where children can take part in lessons and activities in a natural environment.
- Sensory Play Features – Equipment that supports children’s sensory development, providing a calming and engaging space for all.
- Eco-Friendly Design – The playground will incorporate sustainable materials and natural elements to promote an appreciation for nature.
- Inclusive Play Areas – Ensuring that children of all abilities can enjoy the space together.
The new facility has been designed with input from pupils, staff, and parents, ensuring it meets the needs of our school community. The project is being funded through a combination of school investment and generous contributions from our PTA and local businesses.
When Will the Playground Be Ready?
Construction will begin at the start of the Easter holidays, allowing the project to be completed without disrupting the school day. If everything goes according to plan, the new playground will be ready for children to enjoy at the start of the summer term!
We understand that our pupils are eager to see the progress, so we will keep everyone updated with photos and videos throughout the construction process. These updates will be shared on our website, social media, and school newsletters.
A Special Opening Celebration
Once the playground is complete, we will host a special Grand Opening Celebration to mark this important milestone for Demo Primary School. We look forward to inviting parents, carers, and members of the community to join us as we officially unveil the new facility. The event will feature fun activities, refreshments, and a chance for the children to explore their new play space for the first time!
Thank You for Your Support!
This project would not be possible without the support of our wonderful school community. We are incredibly grateful to our PTA, local businesses, and parents who have contributed their time, effort, and resources to help make this vision a reality.
We can’t wait to see the smiles on our children’s faces as they enjoy their fantastic new playground!
